Mark’s story
Mark graduated from the California State University at Long Beach with a Degree in Construction Management in association with the Engineering Department in 1981 and has been in the construction and real estate business ever since.
For the past 38 years, Mark has been in the general contracting business specializing in industrial, commercial, and office construction. Over the last 23 years, Mark has been a founding partner and co-owner of Pacific Construction Group, which has generated close to $600 million in general construction revenue with commercial projects ranging in size from 50,000-500,000 sf. Mark is currently selling his business and is semi-retired.
In addition, Mark is a partner in RMB Properties, a self-storage development company which has currently developed 3 projects located in Washington, California, and Colorado.
Mark has been involved with the national marketplace ministry called CBMC (Christian Business Men’s Connection) for the last 30 years in the local area. In 2003, Mark joined the CBMC National Board and has served consistently since then, having been the Chairman for 7 of those 17 years. His term has currently expired and he has stepped off the board as of the end of 2020.
Mark and Leslie have attended Kindred Community Church since its inception and Mark has been involved in helping lead the men’s ministry in addition to teaching several Adult Sunday School classes. Mark is currently serving as a lay Elder and is a graduate of Kindred University’s 3-year Leadership Program. Mark loves to run and play tennis; he and Leslie have been married for 40 years and currently reside in Costa Mesa, CA. They have two boys, Dane who is married and lives in Austin Texas, and Troy who has currently returned to Orange County and civilian life after having served in the US Army.
